РЕЗИМЕ: Иницијатива за квалитет живота је нов програм Агенције Уједињених нација за насеља (УН Хабитат), почет 2023. године. Циљ иницијативе је помогне представницима градова широм света у процени локалног квалитета живота као важне одреднице успешности града, која је, опет, сложена и тешко мерљива. Дата иницијатива је развила оквир за ову процену премеравањем глобалних и локалних показатеља. Док су први општи за све градови на свету који учествују у иницијативи, дотле су други локално посебни и развија их сваки град за себе. Њиховим премеравањем добија се коначни индекс квалитета живота. Међутим, много важнија ствар за сваког града-учесника је да овим добија скуп добро уређених и тачних вредности за елементе локалног квалитета живота, који се лако могу употребити за креирање развојних докумената града, укључујући и урбанистичке планове. Овим радом се приказује спровођење иницијативе на примеру Града Крагујевца, укључујући и приказ целог процеса, као и добијене вредности и њихово тумачење у светлу развоја локалних развојних докумената и унапређења рада локалне самоуправе.

ABSTRACT: The Quality of Life Initiative (QoLI) is a new programme of the United Nations Agency for Human Settlements (UN Habitat), launched in 2023. The aim of the initiative is to support city decision makers worldwide in evaluating the quality of local life as an important feature of urban progress; nevertheless, this is also complex and difficult to measure. The initiative has developed an assessment framework for measuring global and local indicators. While the former are common to all global cities participating in the QoLI initiative, the latter are locally specific and developed by each city for itself. Their measurement results in a final QoLI index. However, what is much more important for each participating city is that it obtains a set of well-organised and accurate values ​​for the key elements of the quality of local life, which can be easily utilised to create city policy documents, including urban plans. This paper presents the implementation of the QoLI initiative in the City of Kragujevac, including an explanation of the entire process, as well as the obtained values ​​and their interpretation regarding the creation of local policy documents and the improvement of the functioning of local administration.
