MOBILE PLATFORMS AS A TOOL OF INFORMING AND NETWORKING IN SUSTAINABLE URBAN DEVELOPMENT – THE CONCEPT OF THE URBAPP APPLICATION

РЕЗИМЕ: Упркос све већем степену дигитализације, информације о пројектима одрживог урбаног развоја често остају тешко доступне, како стручној тако и широј јавности. Као одговор на тај проблем, рад истражује развој мобилне платформе која систематично обједињује информације о пројектима. Urbapp је апликација која на једноставан и интуитиван начин пружа  приступ активним пројектима на локалном, националном и међународном нивоу. Циљ пројекта је повећање доступности информација широј јавности и лакше информисање о дешавањима у њиховом граду и околини, са могућношћу праћења програма финансирања, развоја и резултата пројеката. Апликација омогућава брзу претрагу путем филтера, усмеравање корисника на релевантне пројекте уз илустративне приказе и кључне информације, док стручној јавности нуди комплексније претраге и садржајнији приказ информација. Имплементацијом овакве платформе повећала би се информисаност јавности о пројектима и њиховом значају, као и партиципација. На стручном нивоу би се олакшало умрежавање заинтересованих актера и остваривање нових сарадњи, међународних конекција и размена знања између локалних и међународних актера.

ABSTRACT: Despite the increasing level of digitalization, information about sustainable urban development projects often remains difficult to access, both for professionals and the general public. In response to this issue, the paper explores the development of a mobile platform that systematically gathers information about such projects. Urbapp is an application that provides simple and intuitive access to active projects at the local, national, and international levels. The aim of the project is to increase the accessibility of information to the wider public and enable easier awareness of developments in their city and surrounding areas, with the possibility of tracking funding programs, project development, and outcomes. The application enables quick search through filters, guides users toward relevant projects through illustrative representations and key information, while offering professionals more advanced search options and a more detailed presentation of data. The implementation of such a platform would improve public awareness of projects and their significance, as well as participation. At the professional level, it would facilitate networking among stakeholders and support the development of new collaborations, international connections, and knowledge exchange between local and international actors.
